Jonah Update

Jonah is a little slow in learning how to talk. The only word he consistently says is his word for food which is "Na" meaning snack. Oh and everytime he picks up a book he makes a cow noise--does that count as a word? Every other word he says it's only when he's copying us and we tell him to say something like "poo poo." You know the important words. Well he recently discovered how to use his tongue while talking. This video shows how he has a lot of important things to tell us. Too bad we can't understand what he is saying. By the way I was very lucky to get this on video. Everytime he is being cute and happy he completely freezes the minute I get the camera out.

So funny. Gosh, I remember when they first start to say words and understand you. It's so exciting to see their speech grow more and more and you will notice it too. There are specific times I've noticed Josie just woke up and started using "sentences" a little bit better or more. Anyway, the learning to talk stage is fun. But then soon they learn to talk back and the words "time-out" will become a part of your vocab.

So cute! I showed it to Eli who started to smile and practically dived onto the computer to get at the screen, lol!
